To be honest i was a bit worried when screenshots of the game began to surface on the net. The main character looked totally different from what we have come to expect, especially if one has played the previous Max Payne games (Max Payne 1 and 2). However after viewing the trailer it became evident that Max Payne 3 is just as action packed as the previous Max Payne titles. The story takes place 8 years after the previous instalment of the game; Max is now a bald headed drunk who has an addiction to painkillers. Since Max is no longer a cop he has made the decision to leave New York and venture into Sao Paulo, Brazil. A factor that made the previous Max Payne instalments a success was the inclusion of bullet time in which Max is able to perform death defying moves in slow motion (The matrix effect). It is great to know that bullet time will be included in this instalment of Max Payne, that itself is a good reason to look forward to this action packed game.
